Edwards of Ocracoke is pleased to offer three larger rental homes known as the Duck Cottages. They are located on our private family property near the Ocracoke Lighthouse. These are full size, custom built homes with 2-3 bedrooms, two baths, laundry facilities, large fully furnished kitchens, living and dining areas, and a host of other ammenities. Description, pictures, and 2023 rates can be seen below. *Reservation note: These cottages are individually rented on separate schedules and are not available for group gatherings.

Duck cottages are Non-Smoking and No Pets Allowed on the Premises.

Here is your chance to watch over the historic Ocracoke Lighthouse.  The Light Keeper's Duck Cottage sits quietly across the marsh from the famous Ocracoke beacon.  You can be the first to see the light beam on at dusk and then awaken in the Keeper's cottage to make sure daylight has put the light to bed.

This renovated 1950's summer cottage, listed on the Ocracoke National Register, has been completely restored and modernized for your comfortable stay on Ocracoke Island. Limit of 4 people including children and parking for 2 vehicles.  Friday to Friday rental week.

2 bedroom, 1&1/2 baths, open living room, dining and kitchen, laundry, screened porch, and private patio for lighthouse viewing under the stars. One bedroom with queen bed and a second bedroom with a queen bed (can be divided into two small single beds by advanced request). Additional amenities: central HVAC, outdoor shower, charcoal grill, fish bench, WIFI, bluetooth speaker, cable tv, dvd, no smoking, and no pets allowed on the premises.

Sheets and towels not provided however may be rented from Edwards of Ocracoke.

Completely renovated from 2020-2021, this 1940's home listed on the Ocracoke National Register has all the charm of old Ocracoke with all of the modern conveniences.  Limit of 6 people (including children of all ages) and parking for three vehicles. Rents weekly Friday to Friday depending on the time of year. Three to four night minimums as available during shoulder seasons.

A two story, three bedroom, two bath home, living room, kitchen, dining area, laundry room, large screened porch, a deck for lighthouse viewing. The two bedrooms downstairs each have a queen bed. The bedroom upstairs has two single beds with an additoinal seating/tv area perfect for kids. Both bathrooms are downstairs with one having a tub/shower and the other a shower. Additional amenities: central HVAC, outdoor shower, charcoal grill, wifi, 2 cable tvs, no smoking, and no pets allowed on the premises. Sheets and towels not provided however may be rented through Edwards of Ocracoke.
